Brands Companion Digital is a full-service marketing and branding agency headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. We provide end-to-end creative, marketing, and digital services ? including brand identity, vehicle branding, outdoor advertising, event branding, website design, digital marketing, photography, PR, and more. We serve businesses of all sizes across Kenya and East Africa.

We are based in Nairobi and serve clients across all 47 counties in Kenya. For large projects, our team travels to client locations including Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, and beyond. We also work with Kenyan diaspora businesses and regional clients in Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda.

Branding

Branding & Design

A standard brand identity project ? logo, color palette, typography, and basic brand guidelines ? typically takes 3?5 weeks from brief to final delivery. Comprehensive brand identity systems with full guidelines, stationery, and marketing templates take 6?10 weeks. Timeline depends on complexity and revision turnaround from your side.

For brand identity projects, we present 3?4 distinct logo concept directions in the first round. After you select a direction, we refine it through 2?3 rounds of revisions included in the project. Additional revision rounds beyond the agreed scope can be accommodated at a reasonable hourly rate.

You will receive your logo in all standard formats: vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) for scalable use in print, and raster files (PNG, JPEG) in multiple sizes for digital use. We also provide dark background, light background, and single-color versions, plus favicon formats for web use.

Yes, 100%. Upon full payment of the project, all brand files and intellectual property transfer to you. You are free to use, modify, and license your brand assets as you choose.

Yes. Brand refreshes are a common service ? modernizing a logo, updating the color palette, refining typography, or creating proper brand guidelines for assets that already exist. We assess your current brand and recommend the minimum interventions needed to achieve your goals.

Vehicle Branding

Vehicle Branding

With premium cast vinyl and professional installation, vehicle branding lasts 5?7 years. Partial wraps and cut vinyl lettering last 3?5 years. Lifespan is affected by sun exposure, washing methods, and parking conditions. We always recommend UV-laminated vinyl for Kenyan conditions.

When professionally installed and later removed, quality vinyl branding actually protects your paintwork from UV and minor scratches. However, it should only be applied to paintwork in good condition, and removal should be done professionally to avoid any risk of paint lifting on older vehicles.

Vehicle branding costs vary by vehicle size, coverage area, and materials. A small car partial wrap starts from KES 15,000. A full car wrap ranges from KES 35,000?60,000. Vans and pickups range from KES 25,000?90,000 depending on scope. Large trucks and buses start from KES 80,000. We provide fleet discounts for 5+ vehicles.

Yes. We brand all vehicle types including saloon cars, SUVs, pickups, vans, minibuses, matatus, buses, trucks, lorries, motorcycles, and trailers. We also brand motorcycles and tuktuk taxis.

Design takes 3?5 business days from approved brief. Production of the vinyl print takes 2?3 business days. Installation takes 4?8 hours for a car, 1?2 days for a large truck or bus. For fleet projects, we schedule installations to minimize operational disruption.

Events

Event Branding & Management

We handle the full spectrum of corporate events: product launches, annual general meetings (AGMs), conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions, awards ceremonies, gala dinners, team-building events, sports day activations, NGO programme launches, government functions, and community engagement events.

For large events (500+ attendees), book 8?12 weeks in advance. For medium events (100?500 guests), 4?6 weeks is standard. For urgent small events, we can sometimes accommodate 2?3 week turnarounds. The earlier you engage us, the more options you have for creative work and logistics.

Yes. Our team handles full venue setup including installation of branded backdrops, display stands, banners, roll-up stands, entrance arches, and all other physical elements. We are present on event day for adjustments and breakdown/collection afterwards.

Absolutely. Brands Companion offers full event management services including event concept, venue sourcing, logistics coordination, catering briefing, AV and technical management, protocol management, guest experience, media management, and post-event deliverables.

Web & Digital

Website Design & Digital

A standard business website (5?8 pages) takes 4?6 weeks from signed brief to launch. More complex websites with custom functionality, e-commerce, or integrations take 8?16 weeks. Timeline depends heavily on how quickly client content (text, images, approvals) is provided.

All Brands Companion websites are built mobile-first. We design and test for smartphones running on typical Kenyan internet speeds before anything else. Over 85% of Kenyan internet users are on mobile, so mobile performance is non-negotiable.

Yes. WhatsApp integration (floating button and direct chat links) is standard. M-Pesa payment integration via Safaricom Daraja API is available for e-commerce and service booking websites. We also integrate other payment gateways and booking systems as needed.

Yes. We offer ongoing website hosting, maintenance, security monitoring, and content update packages. Prices vary by website complexity and required update frequency. We recommend all clients on a managed hosting plan to ensure optimal performance and security.

We build all websites with SEO best practices ? proper meta tags, fast loading, structured data, Google Analytics and Search Console setup, and keyword-optimized content. For local Kenyan SEO, we also set up your Google Business Profile. Ongoing SEO campaigns are available as a separate service.

Pricing

Pricing & Process

Standard payment terms are 50% deposit upon project agreement and 50% upon completion before final file delivery. For large or long-duration projects, we may agree milestone-based payment schedules. We accept bank transfer, M-Pesa, and cheque.

Yes. We provide detailed, itemized quotations before any work begins. Once agreed, a formal service agreement is signed. We issue professional tax-compliant invoices (including PIN details) for all projects. We are a KRA-registered business.

We handle out-of-scope requests transparently. When a request falls outside the agreed scope, we inform you, provide a cost and timeline estimate, and get written approval before proceeding. We never make surprise charges.

We do not have a hard minimum, but our focus is on projects where we can deliver meaningful value. For very small requests (single social media graphic, basic document formatting), we may refer you to more appropriate resources. Contact us and we'll always give you an honest assessment.

Each project is assigned a dedicated account manager as your primary point of contact. We communicate via WhatsApp, email, and scheduled calls. Project timelines, deliverables, and approval stages are documented clearly in our project brief. We provide regular progress updates without needing to be chased.

Outdoor

Outdoor Advertising

We produce and manage billboards, supersites, digital LED boards, transit advertising, bus shelter advertising, wall murals, building wraps, street pole banners, hoarding advertising, and ambient advertising. We handle both design/production and media buying/placement.

Yes. We provide full outdoor media planning, site selection, and media buying services. We negotiate rates with site owners and operators, handle all permissions and approvals, and coordinate installation at booked sites.

Outdoor advertising requires very large file sizes and specific resolution standards. We handle all technical specifications for each format ? clients simply provide their logo and brand assets. Our design team produces files to the exact specifications required by each medium.

Print

Print Advertising

We design and produce the full range of print marketing materials: business cards, letterheads, company brochures, product catalogues, flyers, posters, banners, roll-up stands, exhibition materials, packaging, and point-of-sale displays. We also handle newspaper and magazine ad placement.

Minimum quantities depend on the product. Business cards: 250 minimum. Flyers: 500 minimum. Brochures: 100 minimum for digital print, 1,000 for litho. We always advise the most cost-effective print run for your needs.

Yes. We deliver within Nairobi by our own transport. For items needed nationally, we use courier services. We confirm delivery timelines and tracking for all orders. Bulk deliveries to multiple locations can be arranged for fleet or national campaigns.
